Industry leader Todd Cahill has officially joined DreamTrips. He reunites with owners Mark and Tammy Smith nearly twenty years after they first built businesses together. Cahill spent six years away from direct selling. He now says he is going all in with the travel club. The move marks a major return for a veteran known for building large organizations and developing leaders.
Cahill first met Mark Smith in 2005, the year his first child was born. That child is now a junior at Belmont University. Mark’s leadership helped support Cahill’s family for years. After parting ways, Cahill built businesses on the B2B side. He earned well but found little residual income and constant hard work. When he learned Mark and Tammy own DreamTrips, he reached out. In the past year he traveled to eleven countries. Travel is personal to him, and he wants more of it for himself and his children.
Cahill has worked full-time in direct selling and affiliate marketing for twenty-four years. HeÂ
reached the highest rank in four companies. In one organization he helped build a team of more than 100,000 people generating about $10 million in monthly volume for years. He rose to Regional Vice President at LegalShield, built large teams at Nerium (now Neora), and hit top ranks quickly at Isagenix. He also trained under leadership expert John Maxwell. Cahill is the author of You vs. You, has appeared on national television, and is an executive producer and actor in a feature film set for 2027.
Mark and Tammy Smith own DreamTrips completely. No private equity firm or outside board controls the company. The brand began as the travel membership of WorldVentures, which filed for bankruptcy in late 2020. Verona International Holdings later acquired the DreamTrips name and assets. The Smiths invested, became equity partners, and eventually took full ownership. Mark serves as CEO while Tammy holds a key ownership and field leadership role. Recent additions include returning co-founder Jefferson Santos as Chief Visionary Officer and other experienced global promoters.
DreamTrips has operated for about twenty years. The company claims more than two million members who have enjoyed over 30,000 curated trips across more than seventy countries. Members have saved more than $200 million on travel. The Smiths purchased a company that already had millions of members and long-standing relationships with resorts worldwide. This existing foundation is a major advantage. Most travel clubs spend years trying to build what DreamTrips already had on day one.
DreamTrips is a membership-based travel club. Members gain access to discounted hotels (up to 80% off), cruises, flights, and exclusive group experiences called DreamTrips. The company now markets itself as the world’s first AI-powered travel club. Memberships usually include a one-time enrollment fee plus monthly dues. Higher tiers offer more points, curated trips, lounge access, and in some cases a free annual trip for founders-level members. Points earned can reduce the cost of future travel, creating strong member retention.
Cahill says he is not returning to chase ranks. He wants to develop leaders worldwide through events in places like Scotland, Greece, and Australia. He believes the company can double its membership in five years with the right foundation, technology, and leadership. He is looking for professionals, builders, and parents who want their children to experience the world. People who have been burned before but still feel drawn to this opportunity are welcome. Cahill promises personal systems, content, and coaching. He is placing his twenty-four-year personal brand fully behind DreamTrips and says his name is on this one.
