The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a component of US copyright law.

MLMRanks uses third-party logos and imagery while posting news and reviews about the multilevel marketing industry. This is permitted under Fair Use as outlined in US copyright law.

Publishers are legally allowed to use logos and pictures under Fair Use without needing consent from the copyright holder.

At MLMRanks, we take our commitment to adhering to US copyright laws seriously. We only use third-party logos and images to represent specific businesses or individuals that we discuss in our content.

A copyright owner must declare under penalty of perjury that they are not submitting a false take-down notice when filing a DMCA claim. Disregarding Fair Use when making a copyright infringement claim is an abuse of the DMCA process.

When copyright holders submit fraudulent take-down notices, they may be held responsible for covering the expenses and legal fees of the alleged infringer.

Regarding filed take-down notices, MLMRanks’ policy is to submit a counter-notice for every take-down request we receive.

Additionally, any false DMCA take-down notices that we receive, along with the full details of the copyright owner, will be posted to our DMCA Wall of Shame.
