Founder and CEO David Schmidt was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Health Products and Services category. He was honored for building LifeWave into a global wellness technology company focused on science-based health solutions. The award highlights his role in advancing innovative approaches to well-being.
The award was accepted by KellyAnne Schmidt on behalf of her father. She stated that the recognition reflects bold ideas, strong execution, and the vision to create meaningful impact.Â
She also emphasized LifeWave’s mission to bring the healing power of light to support human health.
LifeWave also received recognition for its “World’s Oldest Intern” video campaign, which won in the Celebrity/Influencer Video category. The video featured William Shatner in a humorous role as a LifeWave intern. It showcased the company’s Welcome Center, designed by visual effects artist Doug Drexler, known for his work on Star Trek.
The campaign was praised for its creative storytelling and engaging concept inspired by William Shatner’s iconic personality. KellyAnne Schmidt noted that the recognition validates the campaign’s direction. She also confirmed that audiences can expect additional videos in the series in the future.
