Ada, OK — LegalShield has officially named Anthony Conte as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Conte joins the executive team as a seasoned finance and operations leader. His appointment comes as the company aims to strengthen its foundation for sustainable, long-term growth.
Conte takes over the role from longtime CFO Steve Williamson, who is preparing to retire after a highly successful career with the company.
Anthony Conte brings over 20 years of executive experience to LegalShield. He specializes in financial strategy, operational leadership, and business transformation.
Throughout his career, Conte has successfully guided complex organizations through major growth phases. He has held both CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) roles. In his new position, he will oversee LegalShield’s financial operations. His primary focus will be on disciplined growth, operational strength, and creating long-term business value.
Before joining LegalShield, Conte worked as a CFO adviser for growth-stage companies at Sagedog Advisors. He also served as the CFO of Savvas Learning Co., a leading education technology company. Additionally, he helped drive business growth as the COO of Wizeline.
Earlier in his career, Conte spent over a decade at EPAM Systems in senior finance roles. During his tenure as CFO, he helped scale EPAM’s revenue from $60 million to an impressive $1.4 billion. He also played a crucial role in supporting the company’s initial public offering (IPO).
LegalShield CEO Warren Schlichting expressed strong confidence in the new appointment.
