Plexus Worldwide has completed its 2026 Summer Wellness Tour in the Dallas area. The tour reached more than 15,300 attendees across 22 states and one U.S. territory.
The company reported 219 stops and 15,559 miles traveled. Attendees learned about gut health, microbiome products, and whole-body wellness. The tour also featured 3,264 Plexus Hydrate samples.
Plexus also used the tour to support its Nourish One initiative. On August 15, more than 70 Brand Ambassadors and volunteers gathered in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The group packed 920 food boxes, representing more than 5,000 meals. The project supported Bancos de Alimentos Puerto Rico and connected with Plexus partnerships involving Feeding America and Mary’s Meals.
Plexus traces its origins to 2006 and became significantly transformed after Tarl Robinson acquired the company in 2008. Robinson later became one of its key founders and served as CEO.
Alec Clark joined Plexus in 2011 and became a co-owner in 2012. The company formally recognized Robinson and Clark as founders in 2018.
Today, Plexus lists Gene Tipps as CEO, while Tarl Robinson serves as Founder and Chairman. Alec Clark is listed as Founder, Vice Chair, and President.
Tarl Robinson had previous experience in direct selling and network marketing before taking control of Plexus. His background helped shape the company’s direct-selling strategy.
Alec Clark also had significant network-marketing experience before joining Plexus. Public company biographies associate him with businesses including MonaVie, Drive Global Marketing, and Enrich/Unicity.
This background is important because Plexus’ current business model relies heavily on independent Brand Ambassadors and network-based sales.
Plexus sells health and wellness products focused on gut health, nutrition, weight management, hydration, and active lifestyles. Popular products include Slim Microbiome Activating, ProBio 5, Bio Cleanse, Plexus Hydrate, Plexus Greens, Immune+, Creatine+, and Plexus Sleep.
The company operates through a direct-selling and multi-level marketing model. Brand Ambassadors can earn from qualifying product sales and can build sales organizations involving other Brand Ambassadors.
Plexus also offers rank-based bonuses, incentives, leadership programs, and travel opportunities for qualifying members.
Plexus does not publish a simple list of its highest-earning promoters. Instead, it highlights high-ranking Diamond and Jewel Brand Ambassadors through leadership programs and company events.
Its earnings disclosure states that 2025 average annual earnings for all Brand Ambassadors were $771. Individual results can vary, and business expenses can reduce actual profit.
Plexus has also faced regulatory scrutiny. The FTC warned the company in 2020 over COVID-related health claims. The FTC later issued penalty-offense notices involving money-making and product claims. In 2025, DSSRC reviewed 17 social-media earnings claims associated with Plexus and reported that several posts were removed or modified.
Plexus Worldwide is an established direct-selling company with a history dating back to 2006. It has identifiable founders, current executives, physical operations, a large product portfolio, and an established Brand Ambassador network.
However, potential participants should carefully evaluate the MLM compensation structure, income disclosure, product costs, marketing expenses, and actual net earnings.
The available evidence does not support calling Plexus a Ponzi scheme. However, its regulatory history and low reported average Ambassador earnings make careful financial due diligence important before joining the business opportunity.
