Mark Chen joined Mary Kay a year ago with deep experience from brands like P&G, Danone, Ferrero, Philips, and Saputo. As General Manager of Mary Kay China and Hong Kong, he is guiding the business toward sustained growth.
He prioritizes product innovation, digital excellence, and support for Independent Beauty Consultants.
“I am honored to lead a brand that brings together innovation, empowerment, and community,” said Mark Chen.
Tara Eustace, Chief Opportunity and Sales Officer of Mary Kay Inc., noted that his expertise in business transformation will be key to driving growth in China.
Mary Kay China is focusing on three clear priorities under Chen’s leadership:
Innovation-Led Growth
The company plans to launch 29 new products by 2026 and continues strong investment in R&D to strengthen its skincare leadership.
Digital-First Empowerment
Beauty Consultants can now start with zero inventory through the Authorized Online Exclusive Store. Mary Kay manages setup, shipping, and after-sales service. AI-powered skin analysis improves the customer experience while high-touch services and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee remain central.
Community and Purpose
The Mary Kay Beauty Consultant Development Program, supported by the e-Beauty Station and My Coach app, offers nearly 100 expert courses. This helps new consultants build skills and grow their businesses.
Since 1995, Mary Kay China has supported millions of women entrepreneurs. The Hangzhou manufacturing facility, opened in 2006 with 700 million yuan invested, produces products tailored for Chinese women. More than 260,000 women have benefited from the company’s entrepreneurship and social impact programs.
Mary Kay China received 14 awards in 2025 and 2026 for sustainability, business excellence, workplace quality, and customer experience. Globally, Mary Kay remains the world’s No. 1 direct selling brand in skincare and color cosmetics (Euromonitor) for four consecutive years. It ranks No. 8 on Forbes Best Brands for Social Impact 2026 and No. 2 on Forbes Best Customer Service 2026.
Mary Kay is building on its 30-plus-year legacy in China to create its strongest chapter of digital growth yet.
