PM-International has received the prestigious World Vision Award during its World Management Congress 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany. The award recognizes the company’s long standing commitment to supporting children and families through its charitable initiative, PM We Care. The honor was presented by Christoph Hilligen, Chief Executive Officer of World Vision Germany, during a surprise ceremony.
The World Vision Award is presented only in exceptional circumstances and is not given every year. PM-International is only the third organization to receive this recognition. Since partnering with World Vision Germany in 2003, the company has donated more than $16 million and currently sponsors 8,500 children across nearly 20 countries. This contribution has made PM-International the largest corporate supporter of World Vision worldwide.
Christoph Hilligen praised the company’s long term dedication to helping children facing difficult circumstances. He said consistent support is becoming increasingly important as many families experience declining levels of assistance. According to Hilligen, PM-International has spent more than two decades creating opportunities, hope, and lasting positive change for thousands of children around the world.
During the event, PM-International also revealed plans to expand its charitable efforts. Alongside its child sponsorship program, the company will introduce a scholarship initiative to help young adults continue their education after they turn 18. The program aims to improve access to universities and career opportunities for students who have completed child sponsorship.
Vicki Sorg, Charity Ambassador at PM-International, said the new initiative reflects the company’s vision of supporting young people beyond childhood. She explained that the scholarship program will help students reach their full potential, create positive change, and contribute to the long term development of their communities. Through this expanded commitment, PM-International continues to invest in education and brighter futures worldwide.
