Amway has completed a major $75 million investment at its World Headquarters in Ada, Michigan, by launching a new state-of-the-art solid dose manufacturing facility and quality control lab at the Nutrilite Spaulding Plant. The upgraded plant officially opened on May 6, 2026.
The expansion transforms 52,000 square feet of former warehouse space into a modern production hub equipped with more than 500 pieces of advanced machinery. Key upgrades include V-Shell blenders, high-speed rotary tablet presses, and a high-speed two-capsule filling machine.
“This new flagship operation represents the next generation of global Nutrition manufacturing, quality, and innovation capabilities,” said Brian Kraus, Amway Chief Supply Chain Officer.
The enhanced facility will support Amway’s extensive Nutrilite portfolio, which includes 877 SKUs across 136 formulas serving 60 markets worldwide.
The investment strengthens Amway’s ability to produce high-quality, science-backed Nutrilite supplements for its global network of Amway Business Owners.
“The Nutrilite Spaulding Plant is another step forward in staying on the leading edge of nutrition innovation and manufacturing,” added Kraus. “Amway cares deeply about the health and wellbeing of our business owners and the communities they serve.”
On May 6, Amway hosted a special open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by employees and families. Amway President & CEO Michael Nelson and Chief Research & Development Officer Kristi Pelc joined the celebration.
