RIMAN Expands to 22 Markets Globally

RIMAN Strengthens Presence Across Europe and Latin America

RIMAN has expanded its international presence to 22 markets. The company launched in France, Germany and Romania on September 9, 2026, followed by Ecuador on September 15. These four new markets mark another milestone in its global growth strategy. Europe now includes seven countries after adding France, Germany and Romania to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain and Italy. In Latin America, Ecuador becomes the sixth market alongside Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Costa Rica. European operations are headquartered in London with multilingual support from the UK and Germany. Mexico continues to serve as a key regional hub for infrastructure and experience.

Founder Vision and Company Backstory

Joonghyun Ahn founded RIMAN in South Korea in 2018 after more than 30 years in the direct-selling industry. He started as a distributor in 1994 and launched his first product in 1995. Early experiences with products he could not fully trust shaped his commitment to quality and ethics. Ahn built RIMAN as a final venture focused on science-backed Korean beauty and wellness. The company quickly grew into a major direct-selling player, generating over two billion dollars in cumulative revenue and ranking high on industry global lists.

Ownership Structure and Leadership Team

RIMAN operates as an independent Korean company with international subsidiaries. Joonghyun Ahn serves as founder and chairman. KyungJung Kim acts as global CEO, while Youngsu Hwang leads as chief sales officer. In North America, Betty Perez has guided strategy and growth. Top independent promoters include Tim Herr and Christopher Kim, the first national directors. The business model relies on independent planners who sell products and build teams across markets.

Signature Products and Unique Ingredients

RIMAN’s portfolio features three main brands. ICD, also known as Incellderm, is the flagship skincare line focused on cell-level care. Botalab offers vegan personal care for hair and body. Lifening provides wellness and supplement solutions. The core ingredient is Giant BYoungPool, a proprietary Centella asiatica cultivar grown at the Jeju Smart Farm. This advanced variety received 20-year plant variety protection in South Korea in 2022 and in the United States in 2025. Products also use Jeju Lava Energy Water and advanced liposome technology.

Long-Term Global Strategy and Future Outlook

Chief Sales Officer Youngsu Hwang noted that the four-market expansion builds leadership, infrastructure and regional capabilities for sustainable growth. RIMAN continues investing in local teams, training and logistics while staying connected to its Korean heritage. With operations now spanning 22 markets, the company plans further investment in regional support and broader access to its beauty and wellness brands for consumers and independent planners worldwide.
