Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, inGroup International proudly announces that itsCo-Founderr and CEO, Michael Hutchison, has received the prestigious Honorary Award from the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This distinguished recognition highlights his remarkable personal contributions to humanitarian initiatives and his sustained support for Ukraine during one of its most challenging times.
The Honorary Award, the highest accolade presented to foreign nationals, acknowledges Michael Hutchison’s steadfast commitment to Ukrainian children affected by the ongoing conflict. His efforts have directly supported the Stand with Ukraine Foundation, which operates under the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and offers vital psychological and physical rehabilitation services to children displaced or affected by war.
Valeriy Korol, Vice President for International Relations at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised Michael’s dedication:
“On behalf of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Stand with Ukraine Foundation, and our friends in Ukraine, we sincerely thank Michael Hutchison for his continuous humanitarian support. His efforts have positively impacted over 800 Ukrainian children who have endured unimaginable hardship. Michael’s commitment reflects true humanist values and civic responsibility.”
Many of the children assisted through this program have been evacuated from frontline regions or have returned from occupied territories, often facing the loss of homes, safety, and, in some cases, one or both parents. Michael Hutchison has not only provided financial assistance but has also personally visited Ukraine twice to spend time with the children at rehabilitation camps.
During these visits, he actively participated in therapeutic activities, workshops, and creative programs designed to restore hope, promote healing, and encourage resilience among the children. These interactions foster meaningful connections, helping the young survivors regain a sense of normalcy and emotional support.
Receiving this honour, Michael shared:
“Beingrecognisedd by the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry is both humbling and meaningful. The courage and resilience of Ukrainian children continue to inspire me every day. Supporting the Stand with Ukraine Foundation allows me to contribute to restoring hope, healing, and opportunities for these young lives.”
