The Direct Sellers Association of Canada (DSA Canada) will host its premier national event, DSA Canada Connect 2025, from June 22 to 25 in the vibrant city of Kelowna, British Columbia.
Bringing together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, policymakers, and advocates, this high-impact gathering will spotlight Canada’s thriving $8.7 billion direct selling sector. Attendees will explore the growing influence of gig work and independent entrepreneurship on Canada’s evolving economy.
Kelowna was chosen not only for its natural beauty but also for its dynamic entrepreneurial spirit, which reflects the energy of the country’s direct sellers.
“This conference is a celebration of the power of people-led businesses,” said Peter Maddox, President of DSA Canada. “Kelowna’s culture of small business innovation makes it the perfect host for our 2025 event.”
According to DSA Canada’s Socio-Economic Impact Report, more than 1.1 million Canadians are active in direct selling, contributing $8.73 billion to the national economy. Remarkably, 84% are women, with a majority based in rural or low-density regions—proof of the model’s inclusivity and accessibility.
As the sector continues to expand across provinces and communities, DSA Canada Connect 2025 will provide a platform to discuss innovation, legal frameworks, and leadership in independent work.
