More than halfway through 2025, DSN’s mid-year quick poll reveals that direct selling isn’t slowing—it’s leveling up. We reached out to 100 North American companies with a minimum $50 million annual revenue run rate and received 80 anonymous responses, offering a clear snapshot of the sector’s underlying performance.
50% of surveyed firms reported year-over-year revenue growth.
22.5% achieved gains north of 20%.
12.5% saw flat results (±2%), while 37.5% experienced contraction.
These numbers not only outpace January’s annual comparison but also underscore that even companies below the $50 million threshold are recording similar momentum.
\Eighteen companies posted over 20% YoY growth in H1 2025*:
7K Metals, Bravenly Global, EllieMD, Farmasi, Immunotec, InGroup, LifeWave, Make Wellness, Neora, Oliveda, Omnilife, Partner.Co, PM-International, Shaklee, The Super Patch Company, Think Energy, VeloVita and Zinzino.
The U.S. consumer economy now dedicates roughly 70% of spending to services—and direct selling reflects this shift. Over 60% of U.S. direct selling revenue (>$30 billion annually) is service-based, predominantly in highly regulated fields like insurance, real estate and financial services, signaling vast untapped potential.
Tomorrow’s winners aren’t clinging to legacy recruitment tactics. The highest-growing companies prioritize:
Customer-centric business models
Smart digital tools for their field force
Continuous product and service innovation
As consumer preferences migrate toward services and digital engagement, success in the remainder of 2025 and beyond will belong to those ready to build what’s next. The past, as they say, is in the past.
